Hello Warrior Nation,
I am extremely ecstatic to be selected to be the principal of Southeast Arkansas Preparatory High School. I am honored to be able to build upon the expectations and practices left behind by our previous administration while continuing to engage our staff and students in data-driven strategies. Academic achievement, ACT performance, academic growth, positive character, peer communication, and performance data will be some of the focal points that have me overjoyed at the opportunity to lead the work!
I would like to introduce myself and disclose how I came into this work. I am a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a graduate of Pine Bluff High School. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, UAPB, with an undergraduate degree in Middle School Education, with an emphasis in Mathematics and Science. I continued my studies at UAPB by attaining my Master’s degree in Secondary Education, with an emphasis in Mathematics. I then completed my course of study at Harding University in Building Level Administration in 2016. Professionally, I have served as a paraprofessional, a mentor, a classroom teacher, math instructional facilitator, and an administrator in previous assignments. I have also served as a sponsor for Gentleman’s Club, Math Club, Parental Involvement Committee, Student Council, and the yearbook committee.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I look forward to personally working with each and every student and family represented in Warrior Nation. I also look forward to increasing student achievement, continuing to provide a safe educational environment with high expectations, and providing our students with the tools they will need to be successful after high school. Please feel free to contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by phone at 870-850-7323, or simply come by and see me. There are about to be some great things that are going to take place at Southeast Arkansas Preparatory High School and I am elated to be a part of them!
